The media could not be loaded. This is just what I needed for taking my curling iron/straighter on trips. I am often using my hair tool up until the time I am leaving and then trying to use a washcloth to wrap around it and hope I don’t burn myself or the interior of my car. I really needed this iKonic Heat Resistant Travel Pouch. I like to take my hair straightener with me. When I'm traveling or when I go to different family and friend's houses to stay but I usually have to wait on my straightener to completely cool down, before I can pack it away. This pouch helps with that and I don't have to wait as long to pack it up. It can only handle light heat so you don't put any hair tools in it, that are really hot! It's also nice because I can set my hair straightener on it, when I'm doing my hair and it keeps it off of the bathroom counter. I also like the velcro closure so it keeps everything together. I hate when you are getting ready to leave and have to fix your hair but need to pack your flat iron soon after. Mine takes forever to cool down. This is the simple but effective way to pack away your flat iron or curling wand when it is still warm. It is just a folded pouch lined with heat resistant fabric that is secured with a velcro band. I just put the wand in and wrap the cord around the outside. It does not add any bulk to the iron for packing. Great item, I should have gotten one of these a long time ago! Read more

It’s a cute hair straightener case but it came ripped beneath the Velcro area and a bit outwards from it and has a hole . The material inside and outside of the product feels very cheaply made . It can hold different size hair straighteners smaller and normal sized ones but it doesn’t close all the way which screams to me fire hazard . This is an item that I do not recommend. Read more

Prevents damage from hot irons

This is a must have if you travel with a flat iron or curling iron. I got this to replace a similar pouch that I had been using for many years. My previous one was more of a bag that you slipped the iron in. I prefer this style because it’s simple and easy to use. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do, keeps the heat in and protects other items from the heat. I would recommend allowing the iron to cool a few minutes prior to putting it in this sleeve because it’s a little thin. I don’t think it will burn through, it’s just makes sense that you don’t wrap anything around a 400 degree iron. Read more
