I picked this up for my sister, who deals with ongoing sensitive skin issues along with adult acne, so she’s extremely cautious about what she puts on her face. What appealed to her about this product was that it’s more than just a sunscreen, with added mineral ingredients aimed at being gentler and more nourishing. According to her, it went on very smoothly and absorbed easily without feeling heavy, greasy, or overly creamy. Most importantly, it didn’t aggravate her sensitive skin and didn’t worsen her acne, which is a big deal for her. It was easy to apply, felt lightweight once on, and didn’t leave her skin feeling coated or uncomfortable throughout the day. She didn’t get a chance to test it during extended sun exposure, so she couldn’t personally evaluate the effectiveness of the SPF, but there were no negative reactions during normal daily wear. From a performance and comfort standpoint, she was very happy with how it behaved on her skin. The major downside is the price. While the formula itself worked well and felt high quality, she felt strongly that the cost is simply too high for what it is. If budget isn’t a concern and you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, this may work very well for you. However, the value proposition is questionable given the premium price point. Read more

This IMAGE skincare daily prevention tinted moisturizer is great for daily use to protect and moisturize skin. I'm typically a BB cream person, but most BB creams use a chemical-based sunscreen, making them not great for beach days. This product uses mineral-based sunscreen ingredients, that are better for my skin and the environment. The product applies smoothly and the color blends with my skin nicely. I initially thought it looked too orangey when it came out of the container, but I found that when I rubbed it into my skin the color more or less disappeared. I must note that the coverage provided by this product is very light. It will even out skintone a tiny bit, but it's not a BB cream or makeup- it's more of a very slightly tinted sunscreen. It will do for a day at the beach when I don't want a full face of makeup, but for daily use I prefer my trusty BB cream. I found that this does a great job as a skincare product. It's an adequate sunscreen and it leaves my skin lightly moisturized without making it feel too oily. It doesn't look or feel heavy on my skin, and there isn't any annoying light cast left behind like you get with some mineral sunscreens. The coverage last reasonably well, and since the tint is pretty light, it can easily be reapplied as needed without it looking pancakey. Read more
