The navy and brown color combination is attractive and appears more expensive than it is. I chose this for the separate laptop access feature. I won't be experimenting with the charging apparatus and the locks look a bit tricky. After reading reviews of their jamming I wish I could disable them, but their design will make that difficult. The wheeled carry-on seems well made and sturdy, not especially lightweight, however. The duffle bag is roomy and waterproof inside, which will be handy. I'm not certain what the smaller hardcase is meant for, I suppose for car travel, but it looks attractive. You can't really judge, though, until a suitcase has been handled by airline personnel. I got this carry-on as I needed a bag that would hold a 15" laptop. It does ...sort'a. So long as you don't over-pack, and you don't put the laptop in a case, or try to pack the power cords in the same section with it. I do love how light this bag is, and how easily it rolls. It fits into airline overheads with ease and the lock is simple to use. It is sort of flimsy for a hard sided case, and doesn't expand at all. But, overall, for the money, it's a good deal. Read more
Good value suit case. I bought for a trip to Chicago from California. I have since used it for 7 other trips and flights. The built in charger ports make it nice for keeping your phone charged while waiting to board the plane. The quality is decent. I would like heavier duty zippers but nothing has failed so I am happy. I have been looking for a versatile set of luggage. I have tried a few alternates but overall was not happy with the combinations for the types of travel that I do. This set of luggage seems to have all the buttons checked for what I wanted and at a very affordable price. Most important is the main carry on 20" case. Most other bags are only accessible by opening the main bag zippers. This bag has a pouch that zips open for computer and has pockets for travel papers and passport and things that you typically need to access when traveling by airplane. The little small cosmetic bag is a bonus but it is not a deal breaker. But the two other bags (tote bag and cosmetic bag) are great additions. If I am traveling by car, the 20" bag extender handle allows both the cosmetic bag and tote bag to slip onto the handle for easy rolling for all three bags. And the tote bag (not expanded) and cosmetic bag can fit under the airplane seat while the 20" bag can go in the overhead on the plane - this allows me to adjust which bags I bring on the plane when traveling. Now everything I read had me pretty convinced that these were the right bags for me. But the online buyer videos confirmed all the different options that I believed these bags provided. Functionality and lightweight seem to be there - durability seems OK because I will not be checking these bags into airplane so the bags should not be thrown around in the airline luggage system. the luggage is a great purchase, and the set is super cute. the size of the bag and the suitcase is perfect for carry-on/personal item sizes. I rated 3 stars because, unfortunately, the charging feature doesn't work, and I was really looking forward to the little perk.
