Ordered this to help strengthen my lungs after a bout of pneumonia several years ago. The spirometer comes in 2 pieces that easily assemble. Included in the box is a small sheet with some basic instructions. It is made out of cheaper plastic but feels sturdy enough to do the job. The device is easy to use, it operates on the inhale, and can be washed relatively easy. It's a very basic device that does seem to work just fine. Not spectacular but sufficient.... Read more
it fails at its core function of encouraging deep breathing. The ball inside the chamber often gets stuck at the top or bottom, requiring aggressive tapping to fix, which disrupts my entire exercise routine. It is not a reliable medical device and should not be sold for post-surgery or respiratory therapy. Read more
