Very nice camera, you will not be disappointed. Even though is a small camera, it's sturdy and full of features. The camera comes very well-packed and protected. It comes with: • USB-A to USB-C cable. • A backplate for hanging the camera on the wall or ceiling. • USB-A wall adapter. • A small bag with wall anchors and screws. • The camera itself. • And easy to understand instructions. The app you need to get is called “VicoHome: Security Camera App”. This app is very well-made, and very user-friendly. Once you connect the camera to a power source, you can then set it to access your local Wi-Fi. This camera operates on the 2.4 GHz band. Installation is very simple, just follow the provided instructions. The camera comes with a mounting bracket, seems sturdy enough. I wouldn't use the provided wall anchors though, I would probably use larger ones. I didn't use the bracket in my case, I just placed the camera behind some photos in my living room, lol. Nonetheless, it was very nice of the manufacturer to provide wall anchors and screws. When my camera got connected to my Wi-Fi, it asked me to update the firmware, so I went ahead and did it. No issues there, and it only took a couple of minutes to update. Operating the camera with the app is actually a great experience. The camera responded very quickly when I tapped on the directional arrows. I was, honestly, impressed. I've used other apps that let you control devices via Bluetooth, and they don't come even close to the responsiveness of this camera and its app. The video quality is great, 2K is enough. If you need more than 2K video quality, you may have other surveillance issues and this camera isn't for you. But if you are only monitoring a kid, a pet, or an area inside your house, this camera is for you. Night vision and motion detection, are also great out of the box. This camera automatically tracks movements and stays focused on my pups. It’s wireless and comes with a mobile app, allowing me to share live access with up to four family members or friends. The picture quality is excellent, and I can zoom in for more detail. Plus, it has night vision, so I can see even when the room is dark— the picture in this review was taken using night vision. I’m so happy with this indoor security camera! It’s been a game-changer for keeping an eye on my 5 cats when I’m away. The 360° panoramic view and 90° tilt mean I can see every corner of the room, and I love that I can control it remotely from the app. The motion detection is awesome—it tracks movement and sends me notifications right away, so I’m always in the loop if anything happens. 92% of the time the camera won’t let me watch the livestream, it will just say it’s connecting but never connect. This also means that I can’t change the view because it has to be connected to move the camera. I do get motion update videos. I bought it because I had to go out of town and wanted to keep an eye on my cats but when I tried to check, it wouldn’t connect. Buy it if you don’t need a livestream, otherwise save your money and don’t bother. Night vision, motion detection and picture quality are good when it does work. Read more
