This tablet pillow stand is exactly what I was looking for! For high quality and comfortable. I love that it has a strong, durable, adjustable metal arm. The pillow is very soft and the top is perfect for a keyboard or your phone, or any item to set on and it doesn't slide off. I am very happy and I do recommend this product. Read more

I'm one of these older people who have problems holding my cell phone for long periods of time as it hurts my wrist due to arthritis. The last year I had been using a Saiji bean cell phone lap stand with a bean bag base to hold my cell phone when using my phone to read or scroll the internet. I absolutely LOVED that cell phone stand, but the arm and swivel mechanism on it were all plastic and it finally broke last week. Based on the reviews I read for that same unit, MANY people had the same problem with either the ball joint or the arm joint breaking from regular use on the Saiji brand lap stands. So... I was on the hunt for a more heavy duty cell phone stand. First bought one that had a tray base and could hold cups and snacks, but the so-called base 'pillow' was so rigid and hard that it did not conform to my lap unless my legs were always extended straight. When I'm in my recliner my legs get restless and I often shift my leg positions, so only a cell phone holder with a 'bean bag' type pillow base is truly comfortable as it conforms to your lap, leg and or even the arm of your chair easily. After much searching I found this INNOGEAR tablet stand which has a bean bag pillow base, and the 'arms' of the unit are made of metal instead of plastic. Some of the connecting clamps holding the phone in place and connectors that swivel the phone are plastic, so only time will tell if they will hold up. I'm hoping that since it's using pins instead of a plastic ball bearing design on the phone/clamp rotation section that it will hold up better than my prior Saiji lap stand (keeping my fingers crossed) This lap stand is really designed to hold a Kindle or a tablet, but my phone is large enough that I can still use it when the cell phone is in the clamps in portrait mode. The stand allows for me to swivel into landscape mode if needed without removing the phone. At first I was worried that because the clamps are holding the phone in portrait mode (top & bottom of the phone) that I would have problems either hearing people or them hearing me because the bottom clamp is where the speaker and microphone are located on my phone. In fact this WAS a problem with my prior Saiji cell phone lap stand. I could hear people fine on my end with the speaker on my phone, but would have to remove my cell phone from the clamps because it covered the microphone and whoever I was speaking to on the phone could not hear me. Fortunately, even though the clamp is on the bottom portion of my phone, I just tested my phone speaking to family members with it positioned inside the clamps and they could hear me just fine on their end and of course the speaker was clear for me to hear them on my phone as well. The only problem with this INNOGEAR lap stand is that when using it with a phone, the bottom clamp completely covers the hole where your USB-C cord for recharging with plug in - So when my battery is running low I do need to remove the phone from the stand for recharging. Keeping my fingers crossed that this stand lasts longer than my prior Saiji lap stand. If staff with INNOGEAR read this review, I highly recommend that they make a version of this specifically for phone use for us older people who have arthritis issues whereby holding our cell phones for long periods of time are just painful and a stand with a comfortable bean bag pillow base to keep on our lap makes using our cell phones as a reader or just for social internet use more comfortable. This particular model works okay because I have a rather large phone, but for some people with smaller phones I don't think this particular stand would work for them, and the arms are much longer than they need to be for a cell phone use. A slightly smaller version of this same design specifically for a cell phone use would be greatly appreciated in the future. Another thing for them to keep in mind if they do make a smaller version specifically for cell phones is that they need to have a hole in the middle of the bottom clamp (or both clamps) to allow the phone to be plugged in for recharging while still sitting in the stand. But, for now this stand is very comfortable with the bean bag pillow base on my lap so I can use my phone for reading my ebooks and scrolling on the internet - Just wish I didn't have to remove the phone every time I needed to recharge it. Definitely worth the money. The repositionable arm is sturdy with nice tight joints. The beanbag base is soft and makes a decent support for the whole thing. Get a page turner and you are set! Read more

I absolutely love this pillow stand for use with my phone. I play games on my phone and this saves my hand from having to grip the phone tightly and numbing my fingers. The only thing I would recommend to the manufacturer is to leave a space for the charging cord to be plugged in. This is really great quality and very comfortable when sitting in a chair or in bed.
