I guess it has been a while since I bought a lunch box and might not know the norm now, seeing how others seem to think this one is small. In my opinion, it should hold quite a lot and would be more than I would need as a lunch box. I can see if one were working really long shifts that they might need more room, but the inside holds quite a bit. The bottom part is insulated and is basically a square shape. The top of the bag is a separate zipped compartment that could hold longer items on top, and there are little compartments on the sides. The handle and strap make it easy to carry. The material it is made of feels durable and long-lasting. I actually got this to use for an art and craft storage bag as I was having trouble finding something to keep certain frequently used things in, having this as a backup when I do need an insulated bag to take somewhere, and it is working great for me for that reason also. It is definitely better than most art or craft storage bags you see sold for that purpose. For either, I would recommend it. Read more

I am really a fan of this cooler bag. I use it to pack my lunch and have always had trouble with other coolers getting the container I use in it due to its size. This fits it perfectly. I put an icepack underneath and then one on top and still have room if needed for other items. I love the separate compartment that can be used for another cooler space or as you see in my pic, chips. I also have my utensils in there as well. I keep a napkin in the small front pocket. The color is nice and I like the option of the top handle to carry or the shoulder strap that can be adjusted. Then you have the added mesh pockets.
