Several changes in this model and not for the best

After having the previous release for a couple months and the new version for one day the differences are obvious. The new one is smaller and will get stuck under sofas and coffee tables, have a medium long item handy to retrieve it while your puppy will want to help. The rope is much smaller and even my not very smart pup can undo it then the toy sits there unmoving while you try to tie it back on tight. The long rope on the previous one is much better. The new one has more get up and go than the first one and my pup loves that. However because it runs faster at all 3 speeds it needs to be charged more often. My bottom line and recommendation is go with the previous model, the hassles of the new one just aren’t worth it. Read more

My 5 month old puppy is a 43 lb Labrador Retriever and she loved playing with this toy. However, she was to rough for it and it stopped spinning already. She is sad she can't play with it the same anymore. Wish it was more durable for her puppy time. Read more

I love that this toy is rechargeable. It's easy to access the charging port by twisting the two halves counterclockwise. The power button is also located on the main unit. (HINT: when you turn it on, don't hold it by the loop that holds the rope. Hold the unit by the edge. Otherwise, the toy will spin like crazy in your hand). There are 3 functional options for use in this toy, and there are lights and a barking noise as well. You can disable the barking noise if you don't want to hear it. There is a yellow light that blinks a few times a minute to entice your dog to play with it. Charging takes a few hours with the included USB-C cable. And the toy lasts a long time with frequent play. It runs for a few minutes of play, and shuts down (pauses) if not played with for a few minutes. There is a yellow blinking light to attract your dog to play with it. All the dog has to do is bump it or pick it up, and it springs to life. The quality of the toy and durability are great. This toy has bounced down our stairs, around on the floor, and is carried by our dog throughout the house. The rope attached to it is short, and soft. Making it easy to play with for both all sizes of dogs. The noise of the motor as it runs is a little noisy but not overpowering in a room with the TV going. Read more
