Cocker loves it! Sturdy, 2 ropes included. Great value

Lilliputβ€”April 7, 2024

The media could not be loaded. I hesitated to buy this toy for a long time because of the mixed reviews. I'm very happy I finally did so for my 4-year-old Cocker Spaniel. It's been 5 months and he still loves playing with it (see video). Boredom is my biggest worry with an expensive purchase. It came with an extra, very thick rope, which is easy to loop through the toy. The other more expensive IQ ball came with only one cover, and the attached flimsy ribbon didn't last. The chirping sound excites the hunter in him especially when it bounces and spins in crazy directions, then stops, until a noise reactivates it. I like that it isn't as loud as the similar IQ ball, which is a concern for apartment dwellers living above cranky neighbours. As long as the recommendations aren't ignored, the toy should last a long time. My particular breed's neurosis is channelled by playing fetch, treat balls, advanced IQ puzzles, and the occasional bully stick. He's a medium dog and a light chewer. It is not suitable for dogs with a strong bite. If you buy the hardest yaky or bully stick for your dog, save your money for an appropriate toy. Read more

Perfect toy for high energy, medium to large size dogs

Brittney Jonesβ€”July 8, 2024

The media could not be loaded. I was hoping I would be pleasantly surprised by the outcome of purchasing this toy. I have seen the interactive smart dogs toys that are like $40 and more than a fraction of the price you can buy these. I love the quality as my dog is an aggressive tour, but dude they’re being ropes on. It helps to keep his attention away from the main base of the toy the modes on it work perfectly he loves the movement. This is really good for dogs who have more than an average IQ and need more to be entertained the lights look really cool at night , I would highly recommend getting this exact model for your dog . my dog woke up in the middle of the night, sat by the toy on the charger and stared at it until I picked it up and brought it in the bedroom. He’s obsessed. The ball even has a yellow light mode, which makes a chirping noise like a bird. Read more

Improve plastic hook!

S Ramirezβ€”July 22, 2025

Would give 5 Stars if it wasn't for the type of material/hook holding the rope. It can be shredded and your dog can eat it. Beware. Other than that, it's an amazing toy with great interaction, and it charges every time! Read more

Favorite toy for puppy! Lots of fun chasing & shaking!

Jacquelineβ€”February 27, 2025

This is her favorite toy after she figured out how to play with it. She barked at it nonstop at first!! We had more fun with her figuring it out than she did. She pulls it out of her box all the time now. It is easy to recharge, and the battery lasts pretty long. Make sure the one side clicks to stay on or will come off. The ropes have held up to her chewing and starting to show wear. Glad they provided an extra rope to use. Hubby laughed at it Read more

Great toy!

K.β€”January 18, 2025

The media could not be loaded. This is the 1st toy that my little Morkie, Chanel, loved immediately. She loves carrying it, chewing on it, tossing it, and chasing it. Normally my other dog, Coco takes all of the toys and sort of bullies Chanel, but Coco is afraid of this one for some reason so Chanel gets it all to herself. Chanel has more of a chase instinct than Coco so I think that's why this appeals to her so much. Very happy I bought this. The charge lasts a good while also. I usually keep it on the yellow setting. You just unscrew the bottom for the button and charging port. It's quite durable as well and comes with an extra rope. Read more

NOT for chewers

JBHβ€”July 28, 2025

If your dog is a chewer - DO NOT GET THIS. My dog tore off the orange plastic and we can't even open it anymore to turn it off. Had to throw it out after less than 1 day of use. Otherwise, it works as described and would be a good toy for a dog who like chasing things more than chewing on them. Read more

Must use their charging cable.

D.Aceβ€”May 21, 2024

Let's start with the good: our puppy loves this toy, she plays with it, rolls around the ground and sometimes even barks at it in excitement. It keeps her attention when it's vibrating or whistling. That's when problems start: fully charged the device runs for a few minutes and she's all over it, then it's supposed to enter Standby Mode and supposed to either reactivate when the dog engages with it again or if the dog leaves it unattended for an hour, it will come alive for 1 minute in an attempt to grab the dog's attention. None of the 3 I've purchased seem to reactivate from Standby or wake up when the dog engages with it. They only work for first 5 mins when turned on and nothing else beyond that. I have to actually take the toy apart and restart it so the dog gets 5 minutes of play. Then we have to start over. The LED is supposed to light on when charging to show status of battery, none of mine do that. The LED is supposed to blink every minute while on Standby. They don't do that either. Basically I have a toy that is supposed to keep the dog engaged, at least while charged, but instead it's keeping me busy bc I have to continually restart it to get 5 mins of play. I know it's fully charged bc it restarts each time I do it manually but after 5 mins it's permanently off. I'm returning all 3 of them. UPDATE: After my original review above, Seller contacted me within hours asking how they could improve my experience/opinion. They also suggested that I strictly charge with the cable supplied and a 5.1v brick. I had attempted charging with various cables including the one provided, and also other bricks but I tried their cable and an entirely different brick and the LED came on when charging (it had not before), and after two hour charge the toy works as intended, enters Standby Mode and comes alive at one hour, or when the dog engages it. So working as described. Properly charging it seems to be the difference maker. I'm keeping all three toys now, two for our puppy and one as a gift. I do wish the instructions said their charger was required explicitly. I believe they suggested USB-C or their charger so it seemed optional. Thanks Sofolor for clarifying. Read more
