Old review: I wanted to give this all of the stars because in the first week that I had it, it was perfect for my dog to play with while I work from home. But it stopped working no matter how much I charge it. I loved this because even when it is stuck underneath something, it still moves and gets out so my dog doesn’t have to come get me to move it out! Sad :( UPDATE: the company reached out and offered not only a refund, but a new toy. My doggie is so happy! She loves this toy! I am very grateful as this keeps her entertained while I work. There’s a point to this narrative. Hang in there. My dog’s goal in life is to extricate many small things from a single larger thing. He’s more a nibbler than a chewer; he’d rather completely disembowel a toy through one tiny hole, using his incisors, than chomp the whole toy to pieces with his molars. Once disemboweled, the larger toys usually last over a year because they become receptacles for all the smaller toys that get shoved inside and extricated over and over again. He’s a nibbler, but he’s also about 30% cat. He’ll spend all day lying on the couch alternately sleeping and staring holes through me. Balls in general mean absolutely nothing. Fetch is an app, not something to do. If it doesn’t act like a cat toy or contain treats, it’s simply debris and a waste of money. But he is a terrier, so he wants to play when he feels like it, at night, when we’re sleepy and not up for running around chasing him and playing tug. With all that in mind, THIS TOY IS FAN-TUCKING-TASTIC! He goes nucking futs over it! The motor is very strong and the battery lasts longer than he does. The ball is covered in a durable silicone coat that he has dimpled but not torn. The spinning top is a hard plastic, like what I imagine a solid object made of water bottle plastic would be like. It’s quite durable until it’s chewed frantically for long periods of time. The rope comes looped on and needs to be knotted so as not to come undone too quickly. It gets chewed through pretty quickly. With the first one I bought, I let him play with it for about 20 to 30 minutes max, to keep it fresh. That toy still has plenty of charge but the hard plastic loop that holds the rope has been chewed down to a nubbin because my dog has tried and tried to get to the critter cheeping and moving around inside it. He CHOMPS on this thing like nothing else. I actually just bought two more of yjese toys that I expect to last 3 or 4 months each if used as a treat rather than a daily toy. AND these new ones each came with an extra rope, which I appreciate. Considering how increasingly expensive long-lasting dog treats are, this thing is worth 5 or 6 bully sticks or beef cheeks. Dog treats that were originally cast off body parts are now super expensive and make his breath stink. This thing cost less and engages him both mentally and physically. I wish I could get a replacement top to make the toy last even longer. I hate throwing out anything with a battery built into it and would rather be able to recycle it or keep using it. But in the interest of self preservation and doggy entertainment, I’m going to keep buying one or two of these a year. Well worth $20. That being said, it’s not for large dogs or dogs whose first instinct is to crack it like a bone. It is plastic after all. Read more

It's about the size of a Tennis Ball. I have a American Bulldog mix, just under 100lbs. Other people say their dog chewed it. It sounds like those other people don't understand doggy toys and proper behavior. Never leave your dog unattended with any doggy toy. Especially if it has a battery in it. My dog is fascinated by the movement and chirping. She hits it with her paw and grabs the rope and swings it around. She likes it but doesn't love it, but that's more her personality than the fault of the toy. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the 3rd mode, the interactive mode isn't long enough. It auto-shuts off after 20 or 30 seconds. Then she loses interest and walks away when it stops moving. Needs to go at least a minute or 2 in a loop of that pattern where it vibrates, spins, and chirps, then shuts-off. Needs to do that at least 3 or 4 times before auto-shut-off. Read more

I have a 6 lb Yorkie puppy and I have purchased 2 of these for him now. I wanted to give it another chance because he really loved it, but the problem is that it’s poorly designed. This 1 year old toy dog has destroyed not 1, but 2 charging ports now. These things don’t even last 24 hours. I can’t imagine what a “real” dog would do. Hopefully they revise it with a wireless charging system or find a solution because my dog really did love them… Read more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this along with several other toys to keep my dog busy while I’m at work. She loves it as you can see from all the bite marks and missing chunks. That brings me to the reason for my 5-star review. Aside from it keeping my 3 1/2 year old Belgian Malanois busy, it has survived her aggressive chewing. You can tell by the pieces that are missing. I got home today and it was in two pieces, the top had been yanked off so I picked it up with the intention of throwing it away but it still chirped and lit up. I screwed the top back on and it worked just fine. The single charge has lasted three days and as you can see, it still had juice because it went from red to blue when it started spinning. Hopefully my dog won’t eat the rest of it since it’s only a week old but if she did, it was money well spent. If you’re thinking about it, do it. It was the least expensive of all the toys I got her and it’s the one she’s enjoyed the most. Read more

Update: 7/9/25 The sellers finally reached out to me and they also replaced the toy with a new one. So far it’s working great but I have been more careful to not let it run completely dead before charging it and I also don’t turn it on as much as I did before. So far this seems to be working. My dogs fight over this toy. One of them will even guard it and not let the others near it despite if it’s turned on or not. Wait for the BUT. What a great toy! My dogs went crazy over this toy. BUT it stopped working after a only a week and now will not charge at all. We contacted the seller via the email address provided on the product’s box it came in that specifically stated to contact them at their email address if there would be any issues with the product after purchase.
