I bought these for running and they work well. They are a bit heavier than my other shorts, but they also have zippers and pockets that my other shorts don't have. I don't care for the cutouts on the side, but they aren't a dealbreaker. Overall I think these are a nice set of workout shorts that won't break the bank- especially if you can find them on sale.
