In my State, you cannot be caught holding your phone when you are driving, even when looking at a map, so I found this mount that I could attach to my round air vent that would support my iPhone. I absolutely love it! The magnet holds my phone and doesn't slide down. I can move the mount from side to side as needed to adjust my view of the screen. The mount leaves the bottom of my phone free to attach a charging cable when the battery is low. It is a bit tough to slide the mount onto the slat of the vent, but the upside is that the phone isn't going anywhere. It's a total value for the price and provides easy use/functional and is sturdy. This is a great Qi2/MagSafe compatible phone holder for car vents and exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a mount without built-in charging so it would be easy to travel with and not take up extra space, and this one fits that need perfectly. It feels very well made, and the magnets are strong, my Pixel 9a with a Qi2 compatible case snaps on securely and stays put. The adjustable head offers plenty of flexibility for positioning while still having enough resistance to hold its angle during driving. The vent clip is also nicely designed and fits a wide range of vent styles, which is especially convenient when using rental cars. The only downside was that mine didn’t include the magnetic ring adapter, though my case already had one so it wasn’t a deal-breaker, but would have been nice to have, and just something to look out for. All in all though, it’s a solid, reliable mount and a great choice and value if you want a simple, non-charging magnetic ring style holder. I wanted to love this item as I often rent cars but never want to forget my magnetic phone holder behind which is easy to do if the magnetic phone holder is black. That’s why I bought this item, because it is white and large. Not easy to forget behind in a car. However, the magnet is weak and my phone would often fall off!
