I was really hoping this would be a good solution for my extra manicure trend that don’t fit in my first container. These are way too deep. Maybe if you have big nail polish bottles it would be better but mine are small. The spots for the bottles are too big, it’s too deep so the moment it goes on its side, all the bottles spill out. I was impressed with these storage boxes and the fact that I could put all of my nail polishes and the stuff that I need to go with it all in one box!! The quality of these boxes is outstanding! I like the idea of this and I did put all my nail supplies including polish in it. It’s large enough to hold everything. The precut foam makes it easy to pop the polish bottles into place. The plastic containers hold the nail files and clippers, etc. Two things I would change. 1. The shape of the container. It sits flat which is great when you sit it on a surface and open it. However, the handle is on the side so to carry it around or stand it up for storage all of your polish bottles are going to be sideways which means you risk them leaking. 2. There isn’t anywhere for a bottle of acetone or polish remover to go without laying it down sideways where it can leak because the container isn’t tall enough to accommodate the bottle but even if it was you’d end up tipping it when you picked up the box by the handle anyway. This item consists of two clear plastic cases that are each 12" deep x 15" wide x 5" tall. Each case comes with 4 enclosed smaller cases that are 4 3/4" deep x 6 3/4" wide x 3/4" tall. These small boxes fit inside the main case. Each case also comes with two foam inserts. One of the inserts has 10 - .8" square cutouts, while the other has 12 - 1" square cutouts. These are designed to hold small bottles (like those that contain nail polish). The cases have latches that hold the lid closed and keep the contents from spilling out. In addition to the latches, each case has a carry handle. These cases will stack on one another. They are made in Surprise, AZ, USA. While these cases seem to be intended as cosmetic carriers, they would do a great job for art and craft supplies, collectibles, or parts storage. The 4 small boxes in the main case are ideal for sewing supplies, and the square pockets in the foam could store small items that require protection against breakage. These cases present the opportunity to reduce clutter and provide some organization. The fact that they are clear makes it easy to identify the contents. I’ve been organizing our supply closet and the kids art supplies. I have several IRIS containers including the 6 Quart Large Clip Boxes, 12 Qt. Large Deep Clip Boxes, and Cometic and Hobby boxes. I love them all, great quality storage containers. These are perfect for the kids art supplies, it’s a 2 pack of the containers and each comes with 4 small photo size containers for storing stickers and water tattoos. The media could not be loaded. I gave this case three stars for: 1. Size: These cases are very large. They're perfect for storage. Great value for the price. 2. Inserts: Includes inserts for a variety of nail polishes in different sizes 3. Cases: I've never seen nail polish cases that also included smaller sized cases that fit inside, much less four of them! This is a huge bonus as nail techs have a ton of small bits and pieces that have to be included in their kits. I took away two stars for: Portability: If you are planning on using these cases to transport glass bottles of nail polish, be careful! It's important to know that the outside latch is not very secure at all. In my video you can see how easy it was for me to simply pop it open using a single fingernail. I was not holding the case steady while doing this, nor did the case even leave the ground or move an inch when I popped the latch. I would be very worried that this would fall open during transportation. They'd be great as a solution for organization and storage, but unless you used some tape or an additional band to assist in keeping this case closed, I'd be weary of its portability. (Side note: Sorry for the loud hissing noise in my video. It's spring of '24 and the cicada brood is here! They're so loud that you can hear them clearly on my video even tho they are outdoors!)
