So happy I purchased this awesome boot! My husband has worn them for years so I had to try them out! I drive a bus. It was raining outside all day and they still look brand new. If I could leave ZERO stars I would! I work on my feet all day so always looking for a good pair of boots to wear. Someone recommended these because Im a dog trainer I thought how cool. I have regular sized feet not wide but these boots rubbed so bad that Im having a hard time walking because of the blisters they caused. I tried wearing them in with different socks, taking breaks from them then wearing again. Im past the return frame window on Amazon so I called the Irish Setter store directly. There was nothing they could do to help me other then tell me to get a stretcher. I can do that but dont want to risk wearing them again based on how bad my foot feels right now. Even hurts tp wear other shows. Highly disappointed in this product, they are NOT cheap would NOT recommend!! Read more

These boots are amazing and clearly really good quality. I brought them on my trip to Ireland and used them on a muddle cliff walk which had puddles all over the trail. These boots kept my feet warm and dry and were easy to walk/hike in. The stayed firmly on my feet but did give me some good blisters because I didn’t plan ahead and break them in ahead of time which is 100% on me and not the boots. The reason for the 4 stars is that I was not aware that these boots would be thin and that I would require a wide size. I have never needed to wear a wide size so I ordered just a size 7 (I wear 7.5) because the only sizes available were size 7, 8 or 7.5 wide. While the 7 fit length wise, they are super tight across the top of my foot right at the base of my foot. I looked on their page prior to ordering and really didn’t see any warning to them being on the thin size. Overall, these boots are absolutely amazing and had there been some indication that they ran thin and to order the wide sizes, they would be an undisputed 5 stars. I still highly recommend these to any and everyone, just be warned and order the wide size. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This pair of shoes is maybe one of my favorite pair of shoes I’ve ever had in my life. First of all, they are absolutely watertight. I was down by the ocean the other day and the water got up over the tip of my toes for a moment, and it didn’t even discolor the leather. I was also down by the river and had to grab a ball out of the water for my dog and again the tips of my toes went under and not even the blemish of water on the surface. The next thing I really love about these tennis shoes is that they come with these locking laces and I don’t know if you’ve ever really been exposed to them but they’re really bumpy and so when you pull them tight, they don’t loosen really easily and so it’s super awesome to tighten your shoe and not have to fight the laces. The arch support inside is I would say about medium not too high not too low and the soul is extremely comfortable. I sometimes have a problem with the side of my foot because the bone under my big toe out a little bit, but these shoes completely accommodate that even though they do look narrow. I don’t have a negative thing to say about these shoes. I would absolutely recommend them to anybody that is looking for a comfortable hiking shoes that will keep your feet dry. I needed new boots after the last winter and thought I would tries these out since they boast being waterproof, and living in the PNW, that is a necessity. These shoes are really amazing and clearly water tight. So why the lower review? I know that shoes have to be broken in but the leather needs some time to be broken in. It takes awhile for it to form to your foot which I get but breaking shoes in is the worst! My favorite part about these shoes is they look pretty classy, I can wear them and not worry about it dressing down my outfit. A great sturdy, beautiful find overall. Read more
