The quality of this sweater is excellent. The size very generous, so size down! It isn't too scratchy but due to the bulkiness of the sweater, I returned it. However, it sure would keep you warm in the snow or in very cold weather. It is very attractive. I like that it is made in Ireland as well. It could work for a male or female.
