Much better quality than I expected for the price. I got this for a very reasonable price shortly after Thanksgiving. I bought 2 of them and both ended up being easy to put together (to be fair though my husband has built things his whole life and so it might be more difficult for those who don't have years of experience). They are sturdy and seem to hold together well. These were for our boys room, which is carpeted, so I really appreciated the added wall attachment that will keep them from getting knocked over. I was "worried" this product would be another one of those cheap/low quality bookcases but have been pleasantly surprised! VERY solid bookcases (I ordered 2), and assembly was a breeze! All parts needed for assembly were included, including a small Allen wrench and screwdriver if you don't already have tools like I do. Whatever these are made out of, they are a higher quality than bookcases I've purchased from the major brands in the past. This product is much better and I really liked the finish as well. Arrived quickly. Packaged well. The actual product is much darker than what is pictured. (It still looked nice and matched our other furniture better, so not an issue for me). Tools and extra parts included. Easily understood instructions. Assembly time approximately 1hr. Biggest gripe (and only reason for the 4☆ rating) is the freakin' Allen screws and key. This is a solid book case and was easy to put together. The company sent some extra goodies as well in the package and had extra parts in case you lost one assembling it. The stickers for putting on the screws to hide them after assembly didn’t stick well, that was the only downside. Read more
