Bear with me a minute. I searched high and low for a leg elevation pillow that would work for me. In recovery from back surgery, I needed a comfortable leg pillow- just the right height (I’m 5’9”)- to help alleviate leg swelling. The 1st one I ordered (24”x24”x8”, memory foam) was comfortable but too wide and didn’t provide the elevation I needed. Plus the knit fabric picked badly and was already showing wear when it arrived. Pillow #2 (22”x24”x10”) was NOT memory foam and hard as a rock. The angle from slope to flat top was too abrupt, coupled with the 10” being too tall for me causing pain in my knees and hips. THEN! This leg elevation wedge is fantastic for varicose veins. It allows me to get my legs properly elevated above my heart with no uncomfortable pressure on my 18" calves and no back strain, and the fabric is soft and breathable. It's also easy to move around and store under the foot of my bed, and it has little grippers that keep it from sliding under your legs. So I loved the measurements (longer than others so both my husband & I could use as well as get full leg support) but also really wanted one with straps to make it easy to grab & this had that. Or so the pics show. Alas, there are no straps as pictured! False advertising. I’m still in the fence whether to keep or not due to this, as it is comfy & has all the right support for my legs. It feels like good quality foam inside & the cover is very soft. I just really wish it had the straps as all the pictures show! Read more
