I'm surprised this product has only a few reviews as of September '24. This is a culinary-grade, matcha at an affordable price ($20 USD/3.53 oz). It isn't very bold or bitter and it is nice and smooth. I had been ordering another ceremonial grade matcha for about a year (at a much higher price) when the quality tanked over time, so I searched for a new more affordable option. This matcha tastes really good and has no after taste. I drink it on my way to work and it gives me a steady energy boost throughout the day. I believe 1tsp of matcha is about 20mg-40mg of caffeine which is perfect since I have a low caffeine tolerance. I added almond milk, maple syrup and whipped cream for a delicious iced matcha latte. This matcha is great for beginners. It recommends 1/2 tsp with 1/4 hot water for a latte. I personally use 1 and 1/4 tsp with 1/4 hot water and 2/3 oat milk. I found that this gives it the strong taste and vivid color I’m looking for. Eventually I will look for a better quality one, but to start this is great! Read more

I can't find any Matcha Green tea that's affordable but this is! I use a 32 oz bottle and drink 2 per day and as long as you follow the directions ie: 1 teaspoon per 32oz. Enjoy!. Naturaly sugar free, nice green color tastes great. Not sure on quality but I will continue to buy. Matcha and green tea especially mixed are terrific antioxidants Read more

Color and taste is like muggy swamp water. Very disappointed, I like their pre-sweetened matcha mix and matcha green tea bags. I ended up mixing it with a better quality matcha to avoid waste. If you’re using it for a latte with lots of milk I suppose it would be fine, but not for drinking alone. Read more

I've recently gotten into making matcha and I found this to be a lovely starter matcha! It has the signature earthiness of a good matcha while remaining sweet and smooth :) This is also a great amount of matcha for the price, so it's a good beginner matcha for those not wanting to commit to the more expensive options quite yet!
