These are freaking awesome! Soft and stretchy, elastic waistband with snap closure and nylon belt. Waterproof (mostly- I ran them undee the faucet and they will finally start to soak a bit. Will be fine in powder.) Fleece-lined for warmth, with excellent zip pockets. Lots of neat touches like the adjustable hemline, gathered boot cuff to keep snow out. I'm 5ft 2in, 115 lbs. Smallest size is Small, and I usually wear an XS. I could probably wear an XS better, but these in Small fit just fine over a thin baselayer, and are comfy for lots of movement. Quality seems great. I must have tried 15 pair of fleece lined snow pants so far. I’m thrilled to finally have found the gem I’ve been searching for; I love everything about these. The fit is perfection (I bought the L); like they’re made for my body (curvy; smaller waist with bigger hips & thighs). Flattering fit with no waist gap & sufficient room to add a thin base layer underneath. Comfortable to sit - the waist doesn’t pinch and there’s no “slide down” in the back! Comfortable/soft interior fabric. Two deep zip side pockets (plus 2 more zip pockets—one above knee and one on back hip). Thoughtful design with bottom snaps that allow the length to be shortened (which I don’t need). The real test will be just how water and wind resistant they are once I wear them in Lapland, Finland. Great price point. Great construction and design. Front zipper keeps fall down, all other zippers work well. Sad part is that I am 5.8" and long legged, so these were "high-water" hem length. I do not like that look with boots or shoes.... comes from growing up and pants were never the right length for me in that it made me look more awkward than I was. Fortunately rather than returning them I know how to sew and there was enough hem to extend after patiently taking out the thread. I was able to still use them, making sure a long shirt /top cover the zipper area for when it just drops! IF you don't have time and ability to modify pass on these. Read more
