Not sure what the Chad was doing in the other review here. This controller has worked on all the PS5 games I have tried so far. You must follow then instructions right or it won't work as a pS5 controll... The instructions are simple. You have to pair it with the PS5 and the USB plug in adapter. Tap a button on the USB doggle you plugin and some buttons on your controller. To set the rapid fire button you have to hold the R3 stick down I count to 8 seconds then release. That put it into a settings mode. Then to do rapid fire hit / tap both at the same time L3 and x. Then press the disired buttons you want to rapid fire. Then to exit the rapid fire setting mode you hit just L3. Walla rapid fire is set. I am pretty sure I remembered it right. If you want to turn a certain rapid fire button off just repeat all the steps to set it then hit the key you want to turn off the turbo fire button , then tap L3 to exit. There are different rapid fire speed settings too. And macro settings but haven't messed with that yet. If you dont pair and do all the set up it will act like a ps4 controller and won't work with ps5 games. So read the instructions.... Read more

Controller was working fine when I got it in April 2025 as of today (sept 17th 2025) the light turned green and the ps5 doesnt respond to button presses from the controller anymore. There was a ps5 software update so maybe that broke it. According to the controller manufacturer this controller doesnt need a firmware upgrade so I dont think there is anything I can do(?) Read more

The video and instructions on how to set it up were easy to follow. Sometimes I have trouble getting the connector to turn on, but I just remove it from the PS5 and plug it back in, and it starts flashing. It's worth it to save 30$. Very happy with my purchase. Edit: After a controller update, mine stopped being able to connect to the adapter. I reacted out to the seller and quickly recieved instructions on how to fix the issue. The best controller for ps5 on a budget. It works 100% fine with ps5 games, just connect it with an adapter but it's very easy and it works wonders. Although it lacks adaptive triggers and is on the lighter side, it still functions the same and has a lot of value for the price. I would 100% recomend this product and is THE best budget ps5 controller. Read more

The controller is not PS5 compatible anymore. It worked fine until the last ps5 controller update. Now it only works as a ps4 controller. Read more

This is a very good controller and yes, it works with the PS5. It works great with PS4 versions of games. HOWEVER, if you are trying to play a PS5 version of a game, it will not work. Works great. Now for most Iโve seen they just didnโt set it up properly so itโs not registering. They give you a video showing you how but the steps are. Step 1- plug controller in using the USB cord then turn it on Step 2- tap the home button and check the controller option, youโll see it says dual shock PS4 controller. Step 3- plus in the adapter when you see the light hold the button on the adapter to get it to flash faster. Step 4- hold your home and share button on your controller you want it to turn off first. Once itโs turned off and the light isnโt on on it. Again hold the power and share button keep holding and youโll see it come on and flash then turn red. Step 5- tap the home button on the controller and scroll over to the controller option. You should now see it says dual shock controller. With that itโs ready and you can now play your ps5 games. The only drawback I have with this is itโs an android charger which I shouldโve read so thatโs just my incompetence. The cord is a bit short but with the money you saved not buying a 80 dollar controller.
