I am near sighted and I have always worn glasses. My basic prescription for driving has remained the same for decades but now I need +1 diopter of extra help to read easily. Until my next exam, these glasses will tide me over so I can avoid eyestrain headaches when sewing, reading in low light, or doing anything with tiny print (why are serial numbers written in size 2 fonts?) After testing some poorly made drugstore glasses used by family, I found that spending a bit more made all the difference. These glasses are a good value, have reasonably tough frames, offer various styles & colors, and are comfortable to wear. I wish they had an option for a smaller size, as they are somewhat too big for my undersized face. They will fit most adult faces just fine. They are advertised as having anti-scratch coating, but I can't review that or durability until I wear them for awhile. Although these glasses can't accommodate my mild astigmatism in one eye, the lens quality and clarity is comparable to the expensive glasses I purchase from my optometrist. I got the 1.5X magnification which is what I use in all reading glasses, but these seemed a bit off, more like 1X. The frames are sturdy with what appears to be a powdered silicone type coating that is no-slip. The arms are spring loaded to adjust to the width of various sizes, but I don't think they would fit larger faces very well. I have a small face and they fit decently and would adjust for probably a medium/average size. I like the style and fit of them but at the current price of $50, I wouldn't purchase again especially considering there is no blue light blocking capabilities. They are light weight and comfortable to wear and the rounded style of the lenses is cute. Sadly though, they aren't a good value at the current price. Read more

The quality of this brand is going downhill. I've owned many pairs of izipizis and these will be my last. They have all broken/cracked on or near the hinges at various stages of life, one pair lasted a few years while another made it about 6 months. They will replace broken frames to some extent but it's not worth the effort when I can buy from another brand and get better longevity for less money up front. Furthermore, my older pairs always fit very comfortably and the last two pairs I've purchased were lopsided on my face. I will not be purchasing from this brand again. Read more
