This is a painful DVD to watch. It will be of little help to you if you've already got basic knife skills down. If you haven't learned basic knife skills just do a bit of searching on YouTube, you can get all of the same information but without the sales pitch. If you've got an hour to kill learning what could be taught in 5 minutes and don't mind having someone pushing the usefulness of a bunch of useless knives then this is the DVD for you. Read more

This video was made for the VCR days and the quality of the video shows. There are points where the image is distorted with ugly green bars. I expected better video quality than this, on DVD. The content itself, though, has great information and I'm already enjoying using my Twin Cuisine set in a hopefully safer manner. So, 1 star for the quality, 5 star for the information... averages out to 3 stars. Read more

This is a very helpful CD. The chef shows you how to hold the knife to cut different objects. I only viewed a portion of the CD and now I have misplaced it, but what I did see was very helpful. I need to practice now and find the CD. Read more
