I purchased this for my mini, 12 lb poodle to use in her training class. I took time getting measurements as it is important that the dumb bell fits the dog's mouth well. I like the clean white appearance which is easy to see. It is sturdy (showing no tooth marks) , smooth, and light weight. It has taken some time for my puppy to accept taking something in her mouth. I added a hardly visible smear of peanut butter to entice her. I have learned that the dumb bell provides the introduction in learning to retrieve. I considered a wooden one, but decided that this would be more hygienic and perhaps also longer lasting. Read more

Lighter weight than most for a large or giant breed dog and handler. If a dog can handle a 3.5"-wide throat, then I recommend it. Will buy again. Read more

It's made well but exactly the same as another one I found from Cogi on Amazon and way more expensive. Unfortunately I needed a small for a training class which the other company doesn't make. Read more

Working great for a 70lbs dog for AKC obedience purpose. I just wish it was a little larger when he grab it on the floor. However the bitting size of 2.5 inches is perfect and I don't see much bitting of the dumbbell. Read more
