I wanted a humidifier that achieved the following things in priority order: 1. Evaporative, mist-free (I didn't want to deal with distilled water) 2. Extremely quiet 3. Holds at least 2 gallons to reduce refills 4. Washable wicks so I don't have to buy replacements 5. Ability to choose desired humidity level and just let it run automatically 6. Ability to turn off all digital displays so it doesn't light up the bedroom at night. ...and not hideously ugly. This humidifier is the only one I could find that fulfilled all of these things. And now that I've been using it a few days, there are a couple bonuses. It has a neatly foldable handle to carry the container to water. I actually bring it to the bathroom and fill it up from the bathtub faucet, no problem. The remote it comes with is very handy to use at night. It successfully brought my bedroom up from 25% to 40% humidity within a couple hours (measured by separate hygrometer). It is true the hygrometer built in to the humidifier is not accurate and overestimates % humidity, but I don't think any humidifier does this well. I just need to set it to target more like 50% to get the room to 40%. Altogether I am really happy with it! Read more

If you are on the fence about what humidifier to buy, I suggest you get this one - the "Jack and Rose Reuseable Wick Evaporative Humidifier". After extensive research, I bought this one, and am very happy with it. So far, I’ve found that it meets or exceeds all claims made in its product description. Before getting this one, I spent several weeks researching humidifiers - reading product descriptions, online "expert" reviews, and Customer reviews. I found myself continually eliminating possible purchases due to poor reviews, poor customer service, or my own evaluation of product information and videos. This humidifier seemed to meet all my criteria for price, quality, size, capabilities, warranty, etc, so I decided to give it a try. One of the most compelling reasons I got it was the many customer reviews that mentioned the after-sales support being really good. Overall, I think they have a great product. We have found it to be attractive and well made, easy to use, easy to clean and maintain, quiet at all speeds, and it does a good job of humidifying our approx 425 sq. ft room (with open door). Within a few days of use, our humidity went from the low 30’s to approximately 50 percent, according to two separate hygrometers I placed in the room. USE: Filling is easy - we just dump in a gallon jug of tap water when it looks like it’s getting low. Cleaning it is easy - we wipe the inside with a cloth with some vinegar and rinse off the filter now and then. Although, I should mention, we’ve hardly needed to do very much to keep it clean, since it seems to stay pretty clean on its own (so far). The company says that the interior of tank and filter are treated to resist mildew, algae, and minerals, and so far we’ve found that it seems true. We have not yet tried (or needed) to put the reusable filter in the washing machine. The company says the filter should last 1-2 years, with regular maintenance. (We’ll see.) CUSTOMER SERVICE: Most important to us in the buying decision was customer service. We have found that Jack & Rose has lived up to the excellent customer service mentioned by others. When we found that the unit’s humidistat was not displaying the correct humidity, we contacted them about it. Jaina, the customer service representative, was very pleasant to deal with. And she was very responsive and proactive in addressing our questions, as well as the problem with the humidistat. Without us requesting it, she immediately offered to send us another unit. No questions asked. We appreciated that very much. To us, support after the sale is as important as the quality of the product. So far, we like the company, we like the product, and are impressed with the customer service. We’ll let you know if that changes, but judging by our experience so far, I don’t expect it to… Read more

While I have a few problems with the humidifier, I really do love it. The reusable wicks are brilliant, it's easy to fill, it's easy to take apart and clean, and it puts a lot of moisture in the air - much better than the paper wick or mist type humidifiers. The reasons I couldn't give it five stars: 1) The humidity sensor doesn't work. I have two other independent hygrometers sitting next to it and they both consistently are in agreement with each other, but display a much higher number than the unit's sensor. 2) When adding water, the machine needs to be turned off, so the interior light also shuts off and it is difficult to see the water level. The little window that shows the water level is very dark and distorted. It would be great if the light inside could be switched on while the unit is shut off so you can see what you're doing. But again, I do love this humidifier for the job it does. Read more

I’m genuinely impressed with the Jack & Rose Stainless Steel Humidifier—this is one of the most thoughtfully designed humidifiers I’ve used in a long time. The stainless steel construction feels high-quality and durable, instantly elevating it above the typical plastic models. It’s easy to clean (a huge win!) and the fact that it’s dishwasher-safe makes maintenance completely effortless. The cool mist output is steady and quiet, making it perfect for overnight use in the bedroom. I noticed a real difference in air moisture within just a few hours, especially with dry winter air. It also has a sleek, modern look that blends easily with home décor. If you're looking for a reliable, hygienic, and user-friendly humidifier, this one is a standout choice. Read more
