Motorcycle jackets are supposed to be snug. If you wreck you dont want the jacket to shift around on you, you want it to stay in place so your protected where your armor is. That being said, if you can use a measuring tape get the size the chart says to get. I weigh 188# and am 5’5”. Used to work out so kinda stocky, but getting a pudge around the belly. My measurements are almost exactly what the large size says, so i got a large. In regular winter wear i prefer my coat/jackets to be larger, loose. But a motorcycle jacket is supposed to be snug, this is a perfect fit. Its not uncomfortable, but I’m certainly not going to lay around the house in it, its for protection. Police officers dont wear vests for the comfort, they wear them for protection. This jacket is very nice looking, good price, can’t find anything wrong with it. Can't say enough about this moderately priced, perfect fit jacket, and with the armor on the outside! Brilliant: no more adjusting, shifting your armor while riding.... only the spine armor is inside; well made, fit my 5' 4" , 142 lbs frame to a T -- tapers slightly from shoulder to waist, so you look like Arnold [kind of]... a real buy, and the ORANGE screams "here I am " to all the blind entrances!!! So far I really like the jacket. It appears to be well made, I like the armor. The hi vis will hopefully make me more visible to the other motorists on the road. I normally wear XL (5'10" 220lbs yes i'm fat) but I bought a 2XL as other reviews say that the jacket is small and I would agree. The orange cookie is a darker, burnt orange color. I added some reflective tape that is a fluorescent orange. You can hopefully see the oranges and red stripe to better appreciate the colors. This is my second jacket like this. I really like it. It fits good. The protection is fantastic. The jacket it is replacing has saved my bacon a few times. The sleeves and waistline have cinches to keep the cold air out. Rainproof with liner. Airey without the liner. I wear it while riding an electronic PEV. -o- Read more

I saw the same jacket elsewhere online but the reviews were all over the map on sizing, and I didn't want to hassle with returning it if it didn't fit right. So I found the same jacket on Amazon for $10 more and ordered it. I'm 5'11" and 210 pounds. I usually wear XL and the XL fits me just fine. The liner is quilted so a little warmer and has one internal pocket with a velcro flap. Each liner sleeve fastends in 2 places and the liner zips in. I'm heading to Cycle Gear tomorrow to replace the shoulder and back and elbow pads with D3O armor, but other than that, it looks like a great jacket.. Read more

The product seemed as advertised don't know about waterproof don't know how cool it was but I did put it on and it was very snow and fit very nice true to size but one of the zippers on the inside failed to work so I just send it back. Read more

The jacket is very bulky for a “mesh” jacket. Its does fit as well as it should. Being tight in some places and loose in the other. Even ordering a size up from the measurements. The shoulder and elbow pads are very big and uncomfortable. Jacket is also not vented very well. I have to leave mean half zipped to get any air at all. Read more

Got the medium, good clean fit, 48, 6'2, 175lbs & a baby beer gut here.. not too loose enough to flap in wind, not too tight to cut off circulation IMO, perfect fit! Torso & kidney armor, id say barely sufficient but its there, Shoulder armor takes a bit to get used to, medium muscular arms here, but armor isnt cutting into my upper arms(like others have said)..large girl like thigh arm guys it might lol-..hi-vis neon green looks and feels great.
