Having lived in Japan for 9 years, I've enjoyed many teas. Upon returning to the US I found it difficult to find quality green tea. There are several other adequate ones out there, but this is the best I've found. It has good flavor, and umame. I like it, and it's much less expensive than having it sent from Japan. This is the best matcha green tea I’ve tried on Amazon. The flavor was rich, not bitter, and I could actually taste the matcha. I had the “traditional” flavor. It was better than another well-known Japanese brand of matcha green tea where I had to add my own matcha powder to get the flavor to my liking. It’s a little pricey since I drink several cups each day, but it’s worth it. I also like the zip-lock package to keep the bags of tea fresh over individually packaged tea bags. Read more
