Stable and exactly as described
Packed well (very heavy box), 55x46 is perfect size for my area. Have been rolling around on it in my chair for 2 days, no problems. Kind of wish they had a non-reflective option (the overhead lights reflect when I'm looking toward my screen). Have not used pads as mine is on low pile carpet, hasn't moved at all (my old plastic one bunched up at my desk legs). Definitely vacuum before putting it down, you can see everything underneath. I ordered the 48 inch by 55 inch glass desk mat, hoping it would get here (Md.) in one piece. Arrived yesterday, by way of Amazon box truck, from North Carolina. I could not believe the beautiful packing job this company did. Had to be handled in a vertical position all the way with at least three exchanges in transit, and was marked with signage as to contents and position, was taped with extra heavy cardboard, foam all around the perimeter, super strong edging, and miles of tape. Arrived in one piece, with only very damage to the wrapping. My hat is off to this company, as they certainly know their business, and would recommend them to anyone for any of their products. What REALLY annoys me is, the listing shows it has a lifetime warranty and says to contact the company if it should ever break. THERE IS NO ABILITY TO CONTACT THE COMPANY. No where on the listing does it have contact info. So before purchasing, I did an Internet search on the company name and came up with no results. You have to work really hard to not have any trace of contact information on the Internet. Doesn't bode well for the company. Then I used Amazon's AI assistant and it said the contact info would be in the shipping box the product comes in. This is NOT TRUE. The product came with no papers, no markings. Take the lifetime warranty with a grain of salt. I have only had it one week. Looks good now. I know it will get scratched like crazy over the years due to the sand and winter snow in my area. Already had a couple visible scratches on the first day of use. But the main driver for me purchasing this product was to reduce my use of plastic and this fills that desire. I just hope I will never need the warranty. Read more
Love the glass chair mat, works great for my 390 pounds.
I have had other chair mats that have had problems with sink holes that made it hard to move the chair around freely. That is not the case with this glass chair mat. It has been great. I weight 390 lbs and have no problems with moving the chair and no sink holes. The glass is strong enough for my weight. I am greatly happy with this product. Thanks for a great product. Read more
