I'm so glad I took the plunge and spent the money on this little rain suit. Here's the rundown: Functionality - 100%. We have used this suit in an ice and snow storm (with boots, wool socks and a couple layers underneath) and in the warmer rain with boots/shoes/socks and shirt and shorts. We put the suit over the boots, and no water gets in. Super helpful with a cranky toddler who doesn't want to change their clothes! Yay play time that ends in clean, dry clothes! ***For parents looking for rain boots for their littles, we are LOVING Lone Cone boots! They worked great during the negative temps with wool socks and he doesn't mind them with light socks on the 80s-90s days. He can even put them on himself at 20 months! Size - We sized up so that we could get a few years out of this suit, getting a 2T when our son was 17 months, and I believe we'll be able to do just that. As you can see, the rain suit is a little big but since the lets and arms have elastic, it stays on the wrists and ankles and doesn't cause a problem! It also tightens at the waste to help with the oversizing, which is perfect! Comfort - Our sun requests to wear this rain suit, so I think it's safe to say it's "comfee". We live in Eastern KY and he loves climbing up the hills and rocks on our property with no issue. He doesn't love the hood yet, but it's nice because the hood has velcro to hold it back when it isn't in use so it's not in the way. Warmth - Versatile as all get out, I'd put my sun in this thing with just a diaper on during the warmer days and bundled up during the colder months. Weight - This is a super lightweight suit! And would be very easy to roll up into a small log/ball and pack away into a suitcase for travel. 10/10 recommend this rainsuit! Purchased this for my 3 year old son for a trip to Olympic National Park. We hiked through rain forests, snow, and rain and he stayed nice and dry. This product is waterproof yet breathable. Breathable was the big selling point for me to make sure he's not overheating or sitting in his own sweat during warmer weather. He normally wears a 3T, I purchased a 3T. The fit is quite large but you can cinch the waist and the sleeve cuffs are elastic to prevent the sleeves from hanging down over his hands so it works just fine. All in all for the price paid I'm glad its a bit large as he will grow into it and I expect he can use for a few years before outgrowing. Bought size 1T for my 14 month old and it fits very well. It is a little too big, which I was hoping for. The material was thicker than anticipated which is great for the assurance of keeping the wet out and it being good quality. He can move around very well in it and the swish swish means I can hear him coming or going from afar 😝 It is NOT fleece lined like one review mentioned. My only wish is that it had the option of Velcro at the wrist and ankles to adjust for size, but the elastic works just fine. I would recommend this to others and look forward to using in multiple seasons. Read more

It's pricey, but this is a great rain suit! I wish they came in larger sizes, because I think my daughter will still need one once she outgrows this largest size. It is very cute and easy to get on and off. I don't really understand the point of the stirrup strap, I wouldn't want to put that under the boot, but if it is on the foot then you can't keep the pants on top of the boots, which helps keep the water out. So far it has been very waterproof for us--as long as I can keep my daughter from lying down in the rain puddles! My one frustration with it is the design of the hood. It seems like it's supposed to have elastic in it, but ours barely has any spring to it. This means it doesn't stay close to her face and tends to flop off fairly easily, getting her head wet. The adjustment strap on top isn't helpful if you can't cinch the hood around the face to help it stay in place. Read more

My daughter goes to a nature program rain or shine once a week. Today it rained the whole day but she stayed dry in this. Its also tight enough around the ankes that it slips over her boots and keeps the water out. It's a really durable well made suit. Read more
