This is a nice foundation. I think it looks too wet on my skin instead of a glow. It is a bit higher in price than I would expect from a product of this quality. It blends well with a sponge though it has so much SPF. This is a bonus. The color is not as natural as I wanted, but it is hard to pick a color without a tester. Read more

I have been struggling to find a foundation that I love after having been a Lancome and Mac Face and Body fan for awhile. Mac changed their formulas, and I currently have their Studio Radiance one. It shares a lot of the same characteristics as this one, so I thought the Jane was worth a trial. I love that the Jane Iredale has SPF built in and is vegan and cruelty free. There were also a lot of options for lighter complexions like mine too. I have pretty light skin with red undertones, and there definitely were a lot of options to pick from. The foundation has a nice feel to it and isn’t the runny or sticky feeling. The formula reminded me of a mix between my MAC foundation and a thicker version of Super Stay I have used recently. It has a slight fragrance to it that I didn’t love, but it isn’t overwhelming. It is definitely a buildable foundation. It goes on smooth, but coverage is pretty light. You have to really build it for medium to full coverage. I also feel like it didn’t go as far as the MAC. This one sits differently on my skin and has a different feel. It has a slight sheen to it, but I didn’t feel like it really blurred any fine lines on my skin. I also appreciate it comes in a pump bottle -although for the price I expected a little bit nicer. This one was very similar to a drugstore bottle I got for a fraction of the cost of this one. It is a glass bottle and the packaging was nice, but it doesn’t have that frosted, smooth look like other brands do. Overall, it’s a decent foundation and might be right for you if you are looking for a lighter coverage, buildable foundation; however, it has yet to really wow me so far especially considering the cost. I do not understand people. Review a "radiant" foundation then fault it for being radiant. Review a higher end product and compare it to lower end products that are not even in remotely similar.
