This fit true to size and was a pretty dress. However, the color of the green dress is more of a pastel and less rich in color, as represented in the stock photo. Read more

I could say a lot of really nice things about this dress - and in truth I probably should - but that’s not where my brain is at tonight. I will remember this dress after another 10 years have passed, just not thanks to fashion or an Amazon review. I wore this dress today because I needed an extra hit of confidence while representing myself pro se at the most important Hearing of my career. Yes, that’s a thing that women really do. Because it works every time. But I digress. Pulled an all-nighter yesterday because my brain refused to leave the Ferris Wheel. Didn’t matter though, because that Hearing was my perfect chance to debut this fabulous new dress (that I acquired for free **insert crazy-lady cackle here. ** The dress is sexy and beautiful to be sure, but it also tracks HIGH on Conservative & Professional scales. Plus it gets bonus points for NOT looking like something I might wear to church. (Because “church-appropriate attire” is always so BORING, eck!) Court came and went (and it went VERY well). But then I kelt getting bombarded at work all day long. They were relentless! I work from home so planned on returning to yoga pants after Court, yet I wasn’t able to sneak away even for that 5-minute break. Instead I wore this dress for Eighteen Hours Straight . . . and that turned out okay. Because past the point where Midnight was just a distant memory, my lovely dress so pretty and professional did hard double duty as comfy-cozy loungewear. Digressing, again. Sorry folks! About The Dress! — It’s warm but not hot, swingy without using spandex, thin but only very marginally transparent. (Boobs are meant to be flaunted, ladies. Buy a sexy bra and let them look.) The knit doesn’t snag. Collar isn’t too high, sleeves aren’t too tapered or tight, and the skirt is sexy-short without crossing that line. Ruffle-y hem mixes with soft knit ribbing to say “Professional Woman meets Feminine Flair. Hear us roar.” Because in the end . . . confidence is its own kind of magic, yes? And this dress makes me feel confident. Only time will tell I suppose, but I’m so very curious to discover whether those “I Am Woman” vibes were the real deal. —————— As for the dog . . . Yes Dakota is very pretty, thank you. And no I’m not being presumptuous. Not when she gets that complement a half-dozen times even on a rainy day. Also important to understand that Dakota wasn’t trying to endorse this dress when she inserted herself between me and the camera while taking pictures for this review. Because, truth? Dakota likes her own poo more than she likes this dress. Or any dress. Even if she could speak and wax poetic for days, the message still wouldn’t change . . . “Ignore the stupid dress, Person-Mine. And for sakes above, ignore your stupid phone! Boring office-stuff is over now. That means it’s time for you to play and pay attention to ME.” I hear ya, Girl. Love you back. Read more

I loved the color, cut, fit, style and comfort, however, the seam where the ruffle attaches came apart 10 minutes after I put it on. The dress was not tight or stretched in any way, so there is no good reason for it. Read more

My wife said she likes the texture. The material has quality stitching and warm for the fall. She loves the autumn green color as it matches her emerald earrings. She especially likes dresses with pockets which this one has. She ordered to fit which it does. I think it looks great on her as well. Read more
