I love the amplifier but don't buy this thinking it is plug and play it is a wonderful unit but you better have a newer laptop to program it because it will not work without it but the features that it had are unparalleled for the price it can be used for any number of configurations from a single input up to 6 channels inputs I love it!!! Powerful for its size, used to up the power from a stock touchscreen stereo. Install was easy but have had it fail to turn on several times. Overall quality of the DSP is good but the interface is difficult to tune exact ranges as you have to move sliders and I would rather type in the range. Once tuned it is excellent and powers my 6 speakers without any issues. Did exactly what I needed, give more power to aftermarket speakers from a lackluster stock stereo. Read more
Have had this Amp in my 2006 dodge ram to replace the oem one, it has alot more punch then the oem and the tune ablitly is awesome. I also have stock speakers and I can tell this has a little bit to much power for them so I can't wait to get after market ones and really hear what it can do Read more

Sounded like 100 watts per channel of clarity and precision. Total bargain for what you are getting. I only wish it could be controlled with an Android app but once you get it dialed in, you won't need to mess with it much at all. Read more
Just finished installing this into an NC Miata with Focal ISU200 components. It fit where the Bose amp was with some effort and a dremel, which is one of the reasons I chose the amp. The other reason I chose this is to upmix the front and rear center channels, which I prefer because of the help they provide when the top is down. I left the USB cable connected and wrapped up under the amplifier access panel, so any time I need to tweak the settings I can grab my laptop and get it done. The Good: I was able to configure my car very quickly. I left all the EQs flat because I just wanted it to work today, but I see a lot of configurability. It was easy to assign each channel to the correct speaker, and assign inputs to output channels. Assigning inputs to outputs took a little figuring out, but once I realized what was happening it was easy to configure correctly. The Bad: Poor QA. I don't know why, but output channel one would hiss loudly on startup for a random amount of time. I wasn't using channels 7 or 8, so I just moved the speaker on channel 1 to channel 7 and that addressed the problem, but I was not able to determine a cause otherwise. When I was first setting it up, the speaker on channel 2 wasn't working. I double checked my crimp connections, and everything was fine. I snipped one of the wires and checked with a multimeter and I was getting 3.6 ohms, so the speaker side was correct. Then I noticed that one of the channel 2 wires was poorly crimped and had depinned itself from the JBL harness. I pushed it back in as best I could and it held, but that was pretty dumb. Read more

Overall, this is a capable DSP amp for compact installations. I was able to hide it behind the glovebox in my ID.4. The DSP has all the essential features for tuning the sound in your car. Almost all the complaints I have can be attributed to the PC software: - the parametric EQ is good enough, but there is no ability to import generated EQ parameter files, for example from REW, - no ability to edit multiple channel EQs together when they are not linked, or copy one channel EQ over another, - bug in the linked channel feature causes the crossovers to mismatch when edited, so the linked channels are useless to me. There are clipping indicators, however these are useless if you are not tuning at deafening volumes. I would love to have the ability to see the frequency analysis of the input and output channels, or at least level meters, to see what is going on in my system and understand if the gain settings are optimal.
