While pitched to the commercial sector, I use them on my deck to play music from my 1970s era receiver. I like the audio quality and efficiency. Can play the at a low volume and still hear music details I so enjoy. Mounting was a piece of cake, but didn't realize that the knock-outs for the mounting ball are throw-aways; you can't reinstall them later if you want to mount/use them differently. Read more

The media could not be loaded. These speakers can get loud for their small size. However, the bass is not much. These do provide great clarity with excellent mids and highs. Just for giggles, I have attached a video of these speakers being hooked up to a Dayton Audio subwoofer amp that delivers 45 watts at 8 ohms. The Dayton Audio SA-70 amp outputs 70 watts at 4 ohms. The JBL Control 25-1 speakers are 8-ohm speakers, so they’re getting about 45 watts from that amp. These speakers can take the power. I’m sure these have protection circuits built in. These speakers are worth it if you’re using these for outdoor speakers. You will definitely need a subwoofer if you want any low end. These are easy to setup. Read more
