These pants are super comfy. The material is s little bit stretchy, and a bit like a cross between sweatpants and slacks. The waist is elasticated and my size (XL) fits me just fine. The material ends up being quite hard wearing, but I honestly can't make up my mind about the waffle texture. One part of me ( and the wife's opinion) feels that it's super old - like a 70's gran'pa might wear. The other part of me finds it interesting, and different - which I kind of love. I do like that they have texture, and if I sit on a leather seat don't slide around all over the place like some dress pants do. Overall? Where are you going to wear these that you need the "dress" angle? They're thin waffle-type fabric, like long johns (what I use them for) but they look like dress pants....ok. Stitching seems fine, haven't seen any errant threads so they should be pretty durable. I'm homeless so I'd know. The pockets are average, not roomy but good enough, and I'm not sure if they're the type everything falls out of - see another review to find out.
