The style is a clean hybrid that combines modern textures with classic hardware. Very durable, I wear them everyday for work, though I am noticing that some of the bronze plating on the hardware is starting to rub off but honestly this gives it a bit of a rustic look to it all. I have been nagging my portly husband to wear suspenders for years. I finally coaxed him into trying a pair and he was instantly relieved that he didn’t have to cinch in his belt so tightly to keep his pants up. We both really like ease of attachment provided by the swivel hooks that go through the belt loops. The elastic straps are thick, wide and have enough give to offer continuous support throughout a day of moderately heavy labor without being too tight or too loose. These are great! I have never used suspenders before. These are a game changer. I should have tried them years ago. I'm a big man. 6'1, 300lbs. My pants are constantly falling down at work and I have to pull them up and retuck my shirt. I've been using these all week. I haven't had to pull my pants up or retuck my shirt all week. Not even once! They are comfortable as well. The tension doesn't have to be very much to keep my pants up. Even with my pockets full and my tool belt on, my pants stay in place. After wearing them all week, I barely notice them at all. An added bonus is that I don't have to have my belt so tight. My wife always yells at me for having my belt so tight saying that it's cutting into me. Really, I could go without a belt completely if I wanted to, but I won't. My work pants are Dickies. The hooks on these suspenders are a little small for the belt loops on Dickies, but the belt loops on these pants are extra wide. It's a non-standard loop, not a fault of the product. They still hook fine. The material seems very durable. Unless you actually cut it somehow, I don't see how you could damage the suspenders at all. If your pants don't stay up, buy these immediately. Very comfortable unlike some that dig into your shoulders these do not they stretch but still hold tight enough to keep pants up I even wore them bowling zero issues.
