These boots run small. I ordered my regular size and had to return/exchange for a size up. Both the first and second purchase came in a timely manner, and the return and the credit to my account was handled swiftly. For the money, these boots look expensive, are comfortable and fit well. I know they are not leather, but all things considered, I "look fantastic in my boots of Chinese plastic" (a nod to the song by the Pretenders for all us folk old enough to know who I am referring to)! These boots are perfect. They look great, pair well with everything, and are comfortable enough to wear all day, every day. I did have a small “breaking in” period, but now they’re perfect. The zipper glides smoothly and each step feels cushioned. The height is a few inches below my knee. I consider myself to have “average” sized calves, and I’d say these boots are relatively form fitting, but not uncomfortably so. I tend to wear them with tights, haven’t tried with jeans. If I could, I would give these 3.5 stars. I'm so relieved to fianlly have black boots that fit properly and are comfortable (my calves are somewhere between standard and wide). I like the simple, minimalist style. However, these are not great quality. The heels are rubber and hollow, meaning they squish if rolled to the side. I don't think they will last very long, which would be more acceptable if they were $20 like the Charlotte Russe boots they remind me of... Anyway, I'll enjoy them for now and just hope they hold up for a while. Read more

The delivery was extremely slow—nearly a month to arrive. While the boots are visually appealing, the quality is disappointing. The material looks and feels like plastic, giving them a cheap appearance. Additionally, they were shipped in a box that was too small, causing the boots to be folded. This resulted in creases in the material that do not seem to go away. Unfortunately, I will be returning them. Read more
