This is a great jewel box for someone with little jewelry or a kid who is just starting a jewelry collection. What I liked: This box is solid, quality built with a great leatherette finish. As stated above, it's a good size for a small collection, a few dozen pieces. It comes with slots to put rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings as well as an ingenious mechanism to open and close the box as well as a key to lock it. It takes up very little space, but the way it's organized, it takes advantage of every square inch it has, no mirrors or music boxes or other frivolous things. The earring holder is removable, see pix, so if you don't have pierced ears, it can be removed completely to make additional room. Overall, this jewelry box is well thought out and well designed. What I did not like: The key locks only the top portion, so the bottom drawers still open; at this price point, I am not terribly surprised by this. The lock is a fairly simple mechanism and could probably be jimmied pretty easily with a small screwdriver. Great little jewelry box that stores a lot for its size. Good value for money. This is a nice quality jewelry box that holds a good amount of jewelry. I'd personally consider it medium sized rather than large...so definitely check your measurements to see if the size is appropriate for your needs. That being said...there's a lot of room for necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings in the top compartment...with more space in the two remaining drawers. As someone who does not have pierced ears, I really appreciate that the box has a removable insert that can be used for earrings. This works well for me...I just remove the earring partition that I don't need, and then have more space for my other jewelry. The box is well constructed and sturdy, and looks nice on my dresser. The hardware seems sturdy, and the lining (a velvety felt-like material) feels soft to the touch. The faux leather definitely looks faux, and won't pass for real leather...but still looks nice. The only thing I don't like about this box is the color of the metal hardware. It's what I would consider to be a light rose gold color, and the upper snap lock has white enamel on it. I personally find it to be a bit on the flashy/tacky side and wish it were more understated. I took off a star for that. But overall, I'm happy with the look, the functionality and versatility of this jewelry box and find it's a nice addition to my jewelry storage options. Read more

It has a top rack with rink holders, hooks and boxes for often-worn items and two additional drawers with small and larger compartments, making easy to stay organized.
