I've been using this pillow for a couple of weeks now, and the difference is noticeable from the first night. I think this product would be great if it had an indent for sidesleeper. As it is, I've been a side sleeper my entire life, to the point where by the time I hit 30, I have the classic "folding shoulder" that happens from years of weight on the shoulder every night (IYKYK) So when I go to sleep on this pillow, I end up with my head not in the cozy little head indent, but below it on the raised part. Still makes my neck feel a slight bit better, but my ears have been suffering from being on that ridge. Instead of coming out slightly at the bottom, it should be flat or slightly indented. And yes, I have tried both the low side and the high side. Besides that, it's good quality and materials. It's firm but not too firm. Does take a bit to get used to if you're used to softer pillows, but only a night or two. Read more
I was hesitant to get a neck pillow, but since my cervical surgery some years ago, I have struggled finding the right pillow for me. I have implants in 3 cervical vertebrae and I suffer of constant pain due to the compression on other vertebrae, so a good pillow is very important to avoid muscle stiffness. This pillow has work wonders, it's not hard nor too soft, it's just comfortable! A very important thing is that it has the perfect height. The problem with many pillows is that they're hard and too high or super thin and soft and that is super bad for the neck. This one is just ideal in softness and height and something very important for us that usually sleep on the right side, is the design, you can put your arm on the side of the pillow for a comfortable position without having to put it under the pillow and get it numb and cause more neck pain. I'm picky about pillow shapes and firmnesses, and have been struggling to find a pillow of any kind that I like using. I've been inundated with youtube ads for a particular branded cervical neck pillow, but spending 80 bucks for one seemed outrageous, especially since reviews for that pillow mentioned strong chemical odors. Since this pillow has a VERY similar shape to the one I've seen advertised (at less than half thr cost) I decided to try it out. It arrived yesterday, rolled up into a non-vaccum sealed bag. It unrolled to its full size without the need to let it sit and expand overnight (like some memory foam pillows and mattresses require). It did have a VERY mild chemical odor but it wasn't enough to bother me (I'm extremely sensitive to smells, many people probably wouldn't notice an odor). It took a little time to figure out which direction was more comfortable for me (it has a higher and lower side), but I opted for the lower side facing my shoulders since I tend to roll over onto my stomach after starting on my side. It was super comfy, didn't move around while sleeping, and I stayed on my side for most of the night instead of tossing and turning frequently. It provided consistent support for my head and neck and my neck felt notably more relaxed when I woke up this morning. I'd highly recommend this pillow! Read more
