I was looking for a vest for a renaissance costume, and I happened to see this one on sale during Prime day, so I thought I'd give it a try. Design-wise I like it. The extra wide shoulders fit the medieval/renaissance look better than some of the other designs out there. The material is thin and has a course, linen-like feel to it which I think works perfectly for my purposes. My 2 biggest concerns going into this were size and color. I ordered my typical shirt size (men's XL) and found the fit to be perfect. It's loose enough to go over a shirt but it's not by any means baggy. Color is another story. I ordered the "light brown" because it looked like a dark khaki in the pictures. The package I received was marked light brown, but I'm 95% certain that it is actually the camel color. The color is nice and works well with an undershirt, so I have decided to keep it, but if you're picky about the color keep in mind it may not be particularly accurate. Overall, this is a nice vest that should work well for any costuming purposes, but I'm removing a star due to color inaccuracy. Read more
