I am 5'10 and typically weigh between 210 and 220. Tried my Large on, on a heavy day, and it fit nicely. Will be great to wear on the maceball field. I like the lacing and the quality of the cotton shirt. Read more

Nice vest, double-check the color
I was looking for a vest for a renaissance costume, and I happened to see this one on sale during Prime day, so I thought I'd give it a try. Design-wise I like it. The extra wide shoulders fit the medieval/renaissance look better than some of the other designs out there. The material is thin and has a course, linen-like feel to it which I think works perfectly for my purposes. My 2 biggest concerns going into this were size and color. I ordered my typical shirt size (men's XL) and found the fit to be perfect. It's loose enough to go over a shirt but it's not by any means baggy. Color is another story. I ordered the "light brown" because it looked like a dark khaki in the pictures. The package I received was marked light brown, but I'm 95% certain that it is actually the camel color. The color is nice and works well with an undershirt, so I have decided to keep it, but if you're picky about the color keep in mind it may not be particularly accurate. Overall, this is a nice vest that should work well for any costuming purposes, but I'm removing a star due to color inaccuracy. Read more

Perfect for our needs
The quality is great, and the fit is on the slim side, which is perfect for my skinny kid. It washed fine and I chose to hang dry to prevent shrinkage. It layers well so I think we can use it for other costumes too. Read more
