I like these slippers, they're a good idea for people whose feet swell. HOWEVER the construction of the toe box area is way off kilter. There's a lot of different materials up near the big toes that are not sewn properly, so the materials all clump together and rub your big toes. I only wore them half for half of the day before they really started to hurt. They are not supportive at all, which was fine for me. The sizing is what you expect with no 1/2 sizes available, so they're a little big. So if they tweaked the design a little, these would be great. I love the Mary Jane look of this shoe. Let's face it, Velcro shoes are never the most attractive shoe in a closet. But if you have no choice, you might as well try to go for something cute. These shoes are really cute, but, alas, I have to return them because I ordered the wrong size. I have to wrap my feet because of poor veinous return. So I thought I'd need to size up to allow for all the wrapping, but I think perhaps they figured that into the sizing, though who knows. But now I know that I should have just ordered my normal size which is 7.5. I bought the black ones & just FYI, lint & white fuzzy stuff cling to the black shoe easily.
