Finally after searching Torrid, Walmart, Target, and several brands from Amazon (just my size, mma, Amazon basics, etc) I’ve found the perfect tank top that I’ve been searching for. It’s super hard to find good work out tops for super overweight/obese ladies. None of the others I’ve tried cover my stomach well enough to be comfortable moving, lifting my arms, etc in workout classes but these are super long so cover everything. Don’t have to worry about my stomach showing from lifting my arms or showing anything in the back when bending over. It’s super loose and flowy so doesn’t hug anything and the arm holes are perfect size too compared to generic/men’s options I’ve tried that have giant arm holes. Material is very soft as well. Material smooth and flowy, nice stretch, color more plum than purple (that probably has more to do with differences in graphics card settings than anything else), washed once w/slight pilling, but I put it in the machine instead of hand-washing. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the fabric! It is so soft and drapes beautifully, hanging long enough reaching just above mid way between knee and hip, and it's comfortable beyond words! I would give it 5 stars if the fit would hang as the photo indicates. However, in my size (XL/1X) it is VERY tent-like. And being very busty for my size, with no belly, having all that volume only served to make me look pregnant. But I found an easy fix. I fanned out the top and then, starting at the arm hole, I stitched a straight seam all the way to the hem, removing a triangle of fabric, graduating from 0 inches at the top to about 6 inches wide at the hemline - on BOTH sides seams. Now it hangs more like a long T-shirt with rounded front and back hem lines. Totally worth the trouble of altering it. I would buy another color and do the same thing. Read more
