Endless Fun & Nearly Indestructible!

HeavenMarch 14, 2025

The media could not be loaded. I got the Jolly Pets Jolly Egg (12-inch) for my dogs, and it has quickly become one of their favorite toys! If you have a high-energy, toy-destroying pup, this is a must-have. We have 2 Pitty babies and an old man lab. Durability – Tough as Nails I have multiple dogs, and they destroy most toys within minutes—but not this one! The hard plastic shell makes it nearly impossible to chew through, which is great for aggressive chewers. After weeks of play, there are only a few minor scuffs, but no cracks or punctures. Unpredictable Movement = Hours of Play Because of its egg-shaped design, it doesn’t roll like a normal ball. Instead, it bounces and spins in unpredictable directions, keeping my dogs engaged and entertained. They love chasing it around the yard, and it keeps them moving and active! Great for Outdoor Play This toy is best for large open spaces like a backyard or park. It’s too big for indoor play, but outside, it’s perfect for burning off energy. If your dog loves to herd or chase, they’ll be obsessed with this toy! Size Matters – Go Big! I got the 12-inch version, and it’s perfect for my larger dogs (50+ lbs). If you have a smaller dog, the 8-inch might be a better fit, but for big, strong dogs, the larger size ensures they can’t get their mouth around it and chew it up. Final Verdict: A Must-Have for Active Dogs If your dog needs more exercise, loves to chase, or tends to destroy every toy, the Jolly Egg is worth every penny. It’s one of the few toys that has lasted in my house, and my dogs are obsessed with it! ✔ Pros: Super durable, unpredictable movement keeps dogs entertained, great for outdoor play ✘ Cons: Loud on hard surfaces, not ideal for small indoor spaces Would I buy it again? Absolutely—it’s now a staple in our outdoor toy collection! Read more

He is the lunatic and his favorite toy!

Catherine A. Monaco-VezerisSeptember 10, 2025

This is the 3rd one I have bought- first one was for my old dog- lasted a very long time and was always her favorite thing. Second one was the small one when my new dog was a puppy, and he lost it down a hill of ivy. So I bought him the larger one, now that he is 3 years old. Second day to use it and he has managed to punch holes in it, and create crators so he can grab it with his mouth! Under normal circumstances this is a very durable toy and lots of fun- not so much when you German Shepherd gets a hold of it- but still lots of fun! Honestly, its so much fun, as well as exhausting for him, I dont mind having to buy a new one when he completely destroys this one! Read more

Jolly makes the best dog toys

Aliana SilverFebruary 4, 2021

We have purchased many of the Jolly dog toys and they are all the top loved/obsessed dog toys. The Jolly Egg is made of a hard material and because of the shape, our dog can't really hold onto it very well and it goes shooting off in different directions. It's made of the same material as the TeaserBall (great toy) and the Jolly Horseman's Pride 14" toy. My two Border Collies are obsessed with the egg and the Horse Toy. It is, apparently, a badly behaving sheep, that he loves because he gets to constantly correct it. It runs away from him and has to be held down lovingly and slobbered on. Yes, he scratches up the surface of it. I saw blood on it once in the past year--a very small amount--and took it away and checked him carefully. I have thought about dremelling or mechanically sanding it down but I think I would just buy another one if the dog-inflicted scratches caused problems. I cannot over-emphasize how much he NEEDS that ball. The shape makes it very hard to hold, and he slobbers over it so that everything is slippery. We let him play with it---no, we give in to his rigid pointing at it every night--for 45 minutes or so? He is happy to play with it for as long as we let him have it. Because he is so obsessed with it, I do supervise him with it. He loves, loves, loves, trying to bury it under his bed. It gets stuck in places and we help him get it out. He knows the name of it. That's it. Anything Jolly is great for dogs. I also love their Jolly Horseman tow--looks like they have a new version for dogs called PushNPlay. That toy is made of the same material, but it's larger, and both of them herd it around the back yard, barking like banshees. We have two of those. "Squish ball" aka the Soccer Ball is great because it makes a squishing noise when they bit down on it. It's a soft material, with thousands of dog punctures in it and it also needs herding and correction. We have two of these. Oh and the Teaser Ball--ball with a ball in it--is great. We smear peanut butter on the inside ball and have 45 minutes of peace. Our dog is fascinated with the holes. Sometimes I'll tie a piece of rope through ;the holes and have a different play. They have a rope ball which is heavy and soft and squishy, but even better, once they killed the first rope, I can put all different ropes through it. Great products. My dogs adore them. Read more

Dog loves it

TylerDecember 24, 2025

My border collie heeler mix loves it been outside for at least 6 months and has held up good. Wish they made a bigger size. Now that he is a year old he can grab it by the pointy end and carry it would be better if it was larger so he couldn’t chew on it. Read more
