Wonderful ball. This is the second one I have purchased. The first was purchased 13 years ago, in the smaller size, and is still in tact and being used by our current puppy. I bought this larger one because our current puppy loves to carry the ball around on his nose, and the other ones holes are a bit too small for that:) The hard plastic has proven to be very durable against chewing and hard playing. It is also a good tug toy option thanks to the well placed holes. Read more

I bought a good selection of assorted sizes of these for my local humane society. The larger dogs absolutely love these and can't get enough of them. Worth the purchase to make the dogs happy. They are durable and create a fun playtime. Read more

This is one of the best toys! He played the first night a solid hour and as soon as he saw it the next day he was back at it. He loves trying to get the ball from the inside. Read more

I bought this Dec 31, 2024. Itβs now Dec 26,2025 and NOT broken. Such a great price especially if you have a super chewer like my GSD Pittie Mix. It is super loud though when it drops on our hardwood floor but outside? Perfect. He has yet to pop the inside ball. As far as safety goes, I do get nervous when he plays with other dogs with it just because it looks like they might hurt each others jaws if theyβre tugging on it. Read more

So one of my dogs loves this.. Like obsessed and will play with for hours. We have multiple all around the property. The last one we got had a caution about it wearing down teeth. It does! We still let her play with it in moderation, but just be aware. This is the reason for a 4 and not 5. They last forever! Read more

We purchased this toy on the recommendation of several acquaintances, one of whom claimed that their two labrador mixes loved this ball, and would spend hours just pushing it around by themselves, fascinated by the "ball-within-a-ball" concept. Since we have two dogs, one of whom is young, curious, and very playful, we were hoping, perhaps foolishly, that this would be a toy that would be able to keep him entertained, at least for a short while, whilst the human members of the household were attending to necessary chores, etc. We care about our dogs very much, but there are moments when we have to direct our attention towards other duties, which can be difficult with a very high energy dog. Since most dog toys are designed for the human and dog to play with together, and our doggy tears through bones in minutes and there are only so many treats one can give him in treat dispensing toys without overfeeding him, we were searching for a toy that would at least pique his curiosity long enough that it would be able to keep him occupied in those moments when we have to pay attention to something besides him. This was not that toy. For some reason, no matter how appealing we tried to make this toy, and no matter how much we "oooh"ed and "aaahh"ed over it to try to get the dogs interested, neither of our dogs (Labrador mix and Golden Retriever) wanted anything to do with this toy. Giving it three stars because the idea is a good one, and the construction is decent, the plastic it is made out of seems pretty sturdy and it would probably take a fair amount of chewing before a dog could completely destroy it. (The small ball inside is made of flimsier plastic, but it seems like it would be very difficult for a dog to get ahold of that to chew on.) It's a good concept for a dog toy, and it seems like other dogs like it from what we've heard, but be aware that your dog may simply not be interested, even if he or she is, like our dogs, very playful and happy to play with any other toy they are presented with. We were not able to "test drive" this toy in a pet store because none of our local pet stores carried the large size (10 inch) we needed since our dogs are large, but because our dogs typically will play with anything, we didn't really think it would be a problem. For reasons that are unclear, this is the only dog toy that our dogs have simply not wanted to play with. Read more

This is such a fun ball for my Frenchie! He can hold it in his mouth or chase it around the house. It is very durable- I just purchased a replacement after 7 months and only because he chewed the sides, and the plastic was shaving off. It is not that heavy but it does make some noise when it hits the wall. After having him destroy so many other balls- this is a super find!!! Read more

I had been looking for a dog toy like this one for a while. I thought this was the answer but am sadly disappointed. The outer plastic is very hard to the point of hurting my foot when I kick it. It doesn't bounce on the grass or on a patio surface. It does make a clackety sound when rolling. The holes are supposed to be big enough for your dog to retrieve, but my lab can't seem to pick it up because the plastic is so hard - there is no give in its surface. Will try to return, but doubt if I can since I threw out the packaging since it was a Christmas present, I was sure my dog would love it! Read more
