Received box with 4 individually wrapped and vacuum sealed pillows. When opened, only a small expansion occurred, but still flat and remained as such by the next day, without any further expansion. Manually fluffing them helped some, but ultimately what did the trick was to place each pillow, separately, for 15 minutes in the dryer on extra low heat. I slept on one last night and it maintained its shape through the night. I am a side sleeper and would describe it as more medium than firm. It is very comfortable with good support and looks to be well made. It is a white quilted fabric (polyester fill) with a grey rectangular border and correct size (16x30 inches, King). Pillows have zero odor. I personally prefer a machine washable pillow. Are they the greatest and best pillows ever? No, unless you want to spend $50-100+ per pillow. I personally never cared too much for bamboo or foam, and think the best ideal pillow is a 100% genuine down with good pressure fill. Overall, they are very nice and comfortable for budget pillows (Little over $8 each), keeping in mind most sleep pillows used every night are best replaced every 1-3 years.
