I bought these Joopin vintage round sunglasses with modest expectations. Thought I’d look mysterious. Cool. Maybe a little like a backup keyboardist for an indie band. What I didn’t expect? The onslaught of attention. I’ve had people (mostly women, let’s be honest) stop mid-sentence to compliment them. One woman at the farmer’s market asked if I was “someone famous in disguise.” I told her I was undercover. She didn’t laugh. She just handed me her number. They’re light. Stylish. Have that subtle “I summer in the south of France” energy without the baggage of actually owning a passport. These are cute but highly delicate. Just touching the metal makes you feel like you’ll bend it pretty easily. I actually bought them for a Disney trip because I wanted both blue and pink sunglasses to go outfits. These are perfect, but I’m sure they won’t last very long And likely are easy to scratch. I was a bit disappointed with the actual product. In the online preview, the lenses appeared larger, lighter, and more transparent, which suited me well. However, the actual product has a much darker lens with a mirrored coating that I wasn’t expecting. It feels too dark even for my eyes. The quality is about 50/50 — the frame is quite thin, but it still feels like decent value for the price. That said, I’m returning the product because the look just isn’t what I expected. Read more

Love em I look fancy and you can bend them somewhat if you go slowly, be willing to break them. But I did that slowly on the arms and nose area. Good for sunrays, some ‘2d’ spots but doesn’t affect you unless you’d be riding a motorcycle most likely. Read more

These are super cute and fun. A little retro looking and the blue goes great with a particular bathing suit. They are light weight but that is to be expected at this price.
