These boots are adorable. The sunflower embroidery is what really sold me. They're wide-calf friendly and comfy enough for casual wear. That said, don't expect premium leather or super durable construction. They're more fashion than function - perfect for festivals, photo ops, or styled outfits, but maybe not the boots you wear to muck a stall or dance all night. If you scrolled to the bottom of the listing page, where several models are wearing these boots in different settings, you will have an accurate depiction of these boots-- you can wear them anywhere, fancy or casual or work, indoors or out. They seem to be a perfect all-around boot. Now, about the specifics: I was concerned that the faux leather would look cheap, but it really doesn't. It's supple to to the touch and also to the bendy movement of the boot. Inside, the materials are comfortable. The soles of these boots are rubber, which is not typical, but I actually like that. No slipping, and they'll hold up to moisture (puddles, wet grass, mud, etc.) better than leather would. Two other concerns I had were whether the boot would be too tight around my calf, and was pleased that the cut is just as it's shown in the model photos-- not tight. And would the size be true? Yes. These boots were a true size 9. (All the measurements were provided in the size chart, which gave me the confidence to actually place the order.) Lastly: the "look." I'm not sure I like the prominence of the sunflowers. If I am disturbed by them over time, I might rub them down with a little wood stain, to make them less obvious. And the square toe. Do I like that? I'm not sure. That might be another feature that I have to live with a little while before I decide. The square toe isn't bad, it's just different for a cowgirl boot. But... the square toe makes these boots more comfortable to wear than ones with a pointy toe! UPDATE: I did try rubbing wood stain on the sunflower, to tone down the brightness. There must be a treatment to the embroidered threads that makes them moisture resistant, because they repelled the stain. So, I wiped off the stain, which left no residue, and am just adjusting to the brightness of the flowers. Read more

Love these boots! Great quality leather. The stitching is top notch and everything about them screams quality. The leather is soft and supple while still feeling very durable, but does not irritate the skin. These are a great value compared to big name brands but still offer great quality and cute looks! I ordered these boots since I don't own a pair of cowboy boots!! This item arrived in two days and were packaged quite well!! I had to order a size 9. since my normal size of 8.5 was not available. The boots fit quite well, just slide in and go! They are comfortable, yet a little loose at my toes, nothing some thick socks can't fix!! The boots seem to be made well and durable with cute stitching and embroidery throughout. I don't know much about cowboy boots and name brands that sell them, but I felt these were awfully cute and will serve my purpose! I plan to wear them with a cute pair of shorts or if I go out line dancing!! I would recommend these boots to anyone wanting a cute pair of affordable cowboy boots!! Read more
