I was recently gifted these J Sole cowboy boots for review, and honestly, they're pretty great. They're really comfortable more so than some leather boots I've tried, which often need a breaking in period. I can walk in these all day without my feet bothering me, and the padding on the inside definitely helps. They have a square toe, offering good room for toes, even for wider feet, though mine aren't. I usually wear a 9.5 in regular shoes, but I always get a size 10 in boots for extra room for winter and fall socks, and these fit perfectly with that extra room, just how I like them. If you need arch support and plan to use an insert, I'd suggest going up a half size, as insoles take up space. I'll even be wearing them this summer. Plus, each boot comes with its own dust bag, which is a nice touch. The embroidery on the outside is beautiful, with beige flowers and pretty turquoise blue leaves. The bright turquoise adds a cheerful look. I also like the flatter, square heel instead of a traditional cowboy boot heel. For $60 cowboy boots, the faux leather is pretty decent. While I've seen amazing quality faux leather, this still looks good, and I appreciate that no animals were harmed. Since real leather cowboy boots can be very expensive and I haven't found a comfortable pair yet, I'm happy to wear these out like crazy. For those whose shoe backs tend to get scuffed quickly, like mine, I'd recommend adding protective tabs to the heel, as I do with most of my boots. Overall, these are really nice boots. Read more

I think my true size is 10.5 W, so finding shoes is such a chore. I sized up to an 11. They fit better than my Ariat's. These boots fit without feeling too big. I love the look, and the material feels like faux suede with some worn spots to look more casual and less faux leather. Read more
