I use this for my iPhone or iPad when I ride my indoor bike on Zwift. The clamp is solid. It attaches to the mounting bracket with a ball joint, which you can get quite tight. It's a much sturdier method than the flexible arm phone mount that I previously had. The bracket is spring-loaded and can stretch wide enough to hold an iPad in a vertical/portrait orientation. I have a 12.4" Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G and it's not the lightest tablet on the market by any means. So I needed a very sturdy mount that I can switch from vehicle to vehicle. I'm a copier dealer and rent a lot of cargo vans and this unit was exactly what I needed. It's overall sturdiness, design and ability to clamp down with something more than just a spring loaded clip was perfect! If there was any complaint at all, which is only my minor bickering, it would be there needs to be more angle of adjustments possible. But I understand they were more focused on making sure the mount stayed in place. So it's easy to give up the want, when the NEED is being met well... :) Read more
Very solid construction, used on a bedside tray table at a hospital bed, hold the phone very securely, made it possible for my wife to make and receive phone calls, MS patient with . limited use of just one arm and hand, made it possible for her to use a phone. Read more
