Great Price and a Decent Machine
I bought this in February 2025 and it is now almost the end of March. I wanted to make celery juice as is recommended by medical medium and this machine was a good price. I've used it almost every day to make juice. The chopping instructions are not really clear about celery. It is very possible to simply feed long stalks of celery into the machine without cutting them into bite size pieces. It will juice them easily as long as the stalk is not wider than the feeding shoot. I do sometimes need to cut the stalk lengthwise to make sure it is thin enough so it won't jam up the shoot. One of my celery hearts was not crunchy and instead of chewing it the auger simply wrapped it around itself once and kept on spinning. The reverse button works to reverse the direction of the auger and I used that to resolve the situation. I've also made, apple, and orange juice. Both of them worked out really well. Although peeling oranges was time consuming the juice fresh is amazing! Not bitter at all. Fresh apple juice is a revelation. I had no idea it could taste so good. I use the leftover apple worms in my bread baking. Makes a great bread. Strawberries did make juice but they were messy. I probably won't make berry juice again. I am thinking that I might try tomato juice this fall when the tomatoes are ripe. Overall I really like the machine. It's easy enough to clean if I do it right after juicing. My friend recommended that I dry it as well if I made celery juice because celery tends to leave a film on the machine parts. It is easy to put together and take apart. It seems well made. The instructions were translated into English. They are kind of funny, "Warning: It is forbidden to touch the power switch with wet hands for avoidance of electric shock, electric leakage and fire."
