The product label says this is made in China and the material is 100% polyester. Although I did not see this on the Amazon product page, the package front insert says: WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive harm - (Then it gives the California Proposition 65 website link that Amazon won’t allow here.) That Proposition 65 warning is given when there are known chemicals in product materials that can cause birth defects or cancer. Amazon does not allow printing web links here but you can do a web search on: ‘California Proposition 65 warning’ to get more information. I opened the package 2 days ago and followed the care directions for washing and drying on gentle cycles. The blanket came out very well. It looks really pretty and is soft and gentle to touch. It is a nice size thickness, not too light or too heavy. The queen size is 90” x 90” inches and I will use this as a layering bed blanket. My experience so far indicates that these Amazon product page statements are true, and the blanket is easy to wash and care for: ‘ STELLAR, THICKEST THROW BLANKET - 330 GSM dual stitching fleece blanket, soft, warm, lightweight HASSLE-FREE CARE - Hypoallergenic & breathable, the throw blanket doesn’t shed, shrinks, or fades’ I think the only downside is the general but potential birth defect/cancer warning based on California Proposition 65 shown above. I do appreciate that California warns consumers about this possibility based on whatever materials are in the products, and wish that companies would do better on this. Read more

This blanket is very soft and comfortable and seems to be well made. It’s held up nicely for a long time and washes in my machines without issue. I love the size of it and that it’s bigger than the average throw blankets. I would definitely recommend it and would buy it again in the future! Read more

My 19 yr old niece is always snuggled up in this. Watching a movie?...shes snuggled up with it. Relaxing in bed?...it’s cocooned around her. Seriously, even after multiple washes and purchasing thicker comforters for her she still uses this daily. It’s soft, the gray looks almost blue in person (not in pics), it doesn’t electric shock her nonstop (like cheaper fleece does) and the subtle star design adds style without being bold. I got the Queen size, dark grey blanket and it is nice that it is soo big. It would be great on a bed over a sheet and under a comforter or just by itself to snuggle up on the couch with it. I am using it to cover almost an entire couch to just update my living room until I can buy a new couch!haha The sun designs on it are pretty cool! This is the most classic throw blanket ever! The quality is great and the warmth is so impressive!
